Ford

mustard berlin (martin bennett) just produced a combined film and photo shoot with photographer Graham Thorp for the agency ‘The Blue Hive’  (CD Rich Last )

The shoot took place at Park Royal Studio’s, in London and on location in the Wiltshire countryside. The studio shoot comprised of filming and photographing stunt kite flyers and scuba divers for a digital campaign for the new Ford Tourneo. Our giant squid kites were filmed on location on a very windy and sunny hill in wiltshire. A fantastic day was had by all even the wind burn couldn’t dampen our spirits! Flying six different kites we were able to capture a variety of movements and angles of kites to match the kite flyers we had previously photographed back in the studio. The second part of our studio shoot was filing scuba divers fully kitted out and ready to take the plunge. Shooting a combination of film and fast sequence stills photography allowed us to animate the models into interesting low kb sequences for online use.

Please check back on our blog soon for when the images go live.

mustard-berlin (Martin Bennett) have produced and directed elements for a new Ford Fiesta campaign for the agency Blue Hive, London (CD Richard Last / AD Nick Hearne / PM Yvette Colgrave)

Using the location skills of location scout/ location manager Ted Ladlow, we secured some prime London locations where we filmed the Fiesta in a modern urban environment. Shooting with Graham Thorp and DP Simon Kennedy to capture the Fiesta at different styles while trying to contain the inquisitive public in a busy London street.

We also shot at Park Royal Studio’s, London for the studio elements. DP’ed by Dave Tree and stills by Graham Thorp, assisted by the wonderful Chris Rands.

Martin Bennett just produced and directed a film project for Ford with agency The Blue Hive (AD Nick Hearne). The film shows of the new re-designed Ford Transit.

We shot the film over 5 days in and around London, Ramsgate and the wonderful Pinewood studios. This film tells the story of lighting engineer ‘Dave’ and his latest big project.  The film was shot on RED One MX and also on the Canon 5D MKII. In some instance we shot with a three 5D MKII cameras. The lenses were all Canon L series primes. 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm. The DOP was Dave Tree, with Simon Kennedy operating as 2nd unit and 1st unit assistant. Movement was brought to the piece by use of a Kessler cineslider and our superb Camera car  / Scorpion Crane team. Our Jimmy Jib material was superbly shot by Arun Taylor.

The lighting rig was supplied by Simon Alderman and his great team at Neg Earth Ltd.
The soundtrack was an original composition by Paul Stoney & Joel Cadbury and edited at Redworks, London by Russ Clapham.
